MaD seeks to be a platform
for youngsters across Asia to witness and act on
the power of innovation and belief
Change is not an empty dream.
Organized by Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture, MaD believes passionately that young people have enormous power to make a difference. Evolving around creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation and discovery, MaD is a Hong Kong-based platform devoted to inspiring and empowering youngsters (aged 16 – 30) all over Asia to create positive personal, economic, social and environmental change.
As a continuous initiative, MaD comprises the following elements:
Annual MaD Forum in January
A 2.5-day event featuring talks and interactive activities, bringing together an exciting line-up of international changemakers and over 1,000 youngsters from

Round-the-year “MaD Good Lab”
A multifaceted movement for the young and good to do good. Activities include experiments on social innovation, MaD trips, community events and an online campaign – “A MaD Thing a Day”
A 2.0 portal for “MaDees” to access inspiring MaD news, share ideas and get connected to kick-start actions
